Waiting...

Waiting for the Scat bus, going south on Beneva.

 Waiting at the Dollar Tree.

Waiting for Daddy to go somewhere, anywhere.

Waiting for two Pioneer buses to come in.

Black & White Sunday

The little girl just has to bend forward and take a look at the baby.

The Day Before Christmas

The training wheels needs to be straightened up a bit.

 Hanging on the shuffleboard fence.

Jake Lapp with a grand daughter.

I love seeing all the children with their parents/grandparents this time of the year.

These next two shots tell the story of Fannie & Adin doing their laundry.

Gianna Wagler with her daddy Richard.

Louis & Mary's family members returning from Dollar Tree.

Two Pioneer buses came in today.

A group of girls waiting for their ride.

When golf carts meet to visit the passengers have to wait...

 Old and young play checkers.

Nathan & Janet's hired girl from Maine came in via the Melard van from Lancaster County. They made their first run today.

Photo Shots from Today

Heidi Wengerd and her baby brother.

 These two photos go together.
They all came walking up Fry Street, with Perry on the bike in the lead. Even so I didn't get all of the group. It is impossible to get half of Pinecraft in one photo shot.

Jensen on my old bike. The bike I had for eighteen years. Four-five years this bike was auctioned off and Nelson Beachy from Plain City Ohio bought it. I am glad it is still in the neighborhood and used by children.

We use the saying, "Birds of a Feather Flock Together" but it is not always so. Here are three different birds that have flocked together.

The rest of these pictures are taken on the corner of Bahia Vista and Kaufman. I probably sat here for an hour or so watching the traffic.

Push the button and the light changes from red to green.

Just returned from grocery shopping. It is amazing how much a person can carry on a three-wheeled bike providing you pack it in the basket and under the seat and hang a bag on the handlebars.

Then this man is crossing Bahia Vista with one quart of fresh strawberries.

 I love this,
Two is better than one.
Older is better than young.

Cleaning up and planting flowers at Vera's.

Christmas in Pinecraft

Tobie Yoder reading the bus schedules. Today six Pioneer Trails buses came in. I think four CrossRoads from Indiana also came in, plus according to rumor one or two or three buses from Illinois and elsewhere. But Pinecraft isn't full yet, and there are more buses coming in Tuesday and Wednesday. This tally is just the people coming in with the buses.

The first Pioneer bus to arrive.

Nobody wasted time in getting off the bus and getting to their luggage, as the next bus was due to come in shortly.

 This is a CrossRoad bus.

Dave Frey picked up his sister and her family.

Butch & Sarah Chupp from Indiana.

And the last Pioneer bus arrived.

 Got off the bus,
Went to their rental.
Took off winter shoes.
Put on flip-flops,
And took to the streets.

The First Benefit Supper (this season)

This morning I biked to the park just to see what is in progress. I loved the haziness in the sky.

So I found the source of the haze, they were barbecuing chicken for the Benefit Supper tonight. The funds go toward the expenses of the Haiti Benefit Sale in January.

 The ice cream maker.

Picking up trays of food to carry out. On the menu were chicken, beans, pasta salad, buns, ice cream and cake, plus soft drinks, coffee and water.

 Visiting

The new "Bike Parking Lot" was put to good use.

 Leaving the park.

Adin Yutzy stayed at home. He is waiting for his wife to return home.

Out biking.
