The First Snowbird

Al Miller from Geauga County Ohio is the first Snowbird to arrive, with intentions to stay at least six months. He was on the Pioneer Trails bus for more than twenty-four hours. For him the bus ride takes longer because his starting point is in Geauga, rather than Holmes County or Indiana.

Jonas Miller a local was the first one off the bus. He went north for three weeks or so.

Leroy Mullet's wife was gone for six weeks or so taking care of her aged Mother in Indiana. She is still holding onto life here on earth at the age of mid-ninety.

A total of about fifteen passengers came down.

I look forward to this coming Snowbird season.
