Future Mothers


 Sisters with their dolls.

It seems Mennonite and Amish little girls are trained by example to be future mothers. And by far the majority of these little girls will become mothers to the future generation. 
I seldom wanted to pretend I am a mother and play with dolls, but instead I took to the sewing machine and made doll clothes for my younger sisters.
