This young man from West Union Ohio is a Keim, who is the son of Mose Keim, who is the son of Jonas Arie who lived west of Maysville Ohio in the late 1950's. We lived in the same neighborhood for a few years. Mose Keim is the same age my oldest brother Henry is. They both attended Fredericksburg School. I think they were in the same grade.
This couple is from the Winesburg Ohio area, the parents of Lue Shetler.
When old people like Paul and Anne Miller's vehicle quits working on Estrada Street, there is only one thing to do and that is get help.
So they put one person in the vehicle to control the steering and these three got their exercise by pushing. The pushing started about two houses in from Beneva on Estrada. So they pushed the length of Estrada, turned left on Kaufman until the dead end, then turned left and into Pauls' driveway.
I don't know why I was so surprised to see an Amish man behind the wheel, but I was surprised. I am sure he didn't push the pedal or the brakes. He just steered.
Siblings, sister still lives in Kansas and Enos moved to Sarasota.
Whenever a Pioneer Bus comes in loaded with passengers, the Red Shirt men jump into action. In no time at all these men have the luggage unloaded. Anne helps the passengers step off the bus and everybody goes their merry way.
And here is the evidence of getting on their merry way.
Jacob Miller grandson of Steff Keima Paul, who is in the background.
One of these is young Jacob's grandma, although I don't know which one.
