Working Women

These two Barbara Wagler and Fannie Ruth are hard worker. Barbara works at Yoder's Amish Village, mostly in the Deli. Paul, her husband works in with the Produce.

Fannie Ruth and her husband John come early in the Fall and stay until late Spring due to John's health. Fannie does house cleaning.

There are many more Snow Birds that have winter jobs.

Today

The Crossroad, Journey Tours and Pioneer came in on their regular runs.

Freeman Byler's golf cart is for Sale @ $1700 or Rent for $18.00 a day.

This afternoon we had rain,

with a little lightening and a little thunder.

Cleaning Up

David Borntrager cleaned up at the Laundromat and around the apartments.

I love old buildings but even so there comes a time to tear down and rebuild.

Going Home

Saying their "Good-bye" before Walter boards the Crossroad bus going back to Indiana.

The state of Indiana has at least two Lancaster type communities, and so they also use the Crossroad bus for transportation.

Two loaded Pioneer buses left this afternoon for home.

The Patience of Job

It takes the patience of Job to feed a squirrel out of your hand.

Especially so when a puppy barks,

Or other children chase the squirrels up the tree,

In their vain effort to catch one.

Willis Schwartz and Willie Riehl making music at the Pinecraft Park tonight. Willis is drumming the granite pot and playing the harmonica while Willie has the guitar. I recorded a few songs but I can't download them on here. I will put those on Facebook.
