This picture brings back a flood of memories. I had a P.O. box there during my winter escapes from the cold Midwest in the 70's.Staying with my Aunt Martha at 3534 Hacienda,the old Post Office was an important place before the age of cell phones and e-mail. Letters from my family and the girlfriend begging me to come home after we would break up were looked for items.Its kind of sad to see it gone as a post office but it will be good to see it re-born as as public space once again.Len Gingerich,Phoenix ,Az
