Tonight I watched the Roseate Spoonbill come gliding in. The Little Blue Heron looked at her and thought, "What are you doing here?" And a little bit of a squabble followed. I personally think the Herons are a bit timid even though they look down their nose at all other birds.
Then the second one came out of a tree nearby. They obviously decided there is room for all three of them.
Good eating was in this pool as I watched all three birds gobble up as fast as they could swallow it down.
A number of squirrels followed me around.
