On March 11th, which is next week CrossRoads is making a one day trip to Tarpon Springs. They are leaving the Tourist Church parking lot at 9:00am and returning by 5:00pm. The price is $45/person.
Tarpon Springs is home of the historic Sponge Docks and divers. The sponge industry helped build a Greek community that is now famous for some of the world's finest sponges, Greek restaurants, bakeries and shops.
You will have an opportunity to watch a diver harvest sponges in the clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The boat ride is included.
Lunch will be a traditional Greek restaurant and is included in the price. There will be lots of time to explore the many shops, museum, and aquarium on your own.

A year ago I went with Kendra to explore Tarpon Springs. It was one of my best trips in sightseeing/exploring.
