Bird Confrontation

I could not believe my eyes when I biked down to the creek this afternoon and watched this Bird Meeting. These two were off to a side face to face...

 while this whole group of birds stood in the back all facing the two up front, waiting. After having words that I couldn't hear nor understand, the bird on the right in the first photo turned and walked away.

 Then the rest of the group turned and fled to higher grounds.

And watched without saying a word to each other. I sort of have come to the conclusion that humans and birds are sort of same.
